Clive founded SalesSense in 1996 after seventeen years in sales and sales management roles. He sold technology and software solutions from IBM, Intel, Sun Microsystems, and Silicon Graphics. He has written most SalesSense material including over 100,000 words of website content, more than twenty training courses, and a range of sales simulations. Chris founded Practical Bid Solutions in 1999 to deliver specialist sales and bid improvement expertise to market-leading organisations. The company boasted a string of success stories with the likes of Computacenter, Rockwell Automation, and Forrester. A major part of the work was based on a benchmarking methodology Chris created. The approach is now known as Get to Great®, and is at the heart of his new company which specialises in Sales Readiness and Sales Effectiveness.
